About

Always interested in design and technology, Evan studied Digital Media and earned his BFA degree at the University of Georgia. While attending he also studied computer science, animation and new media. He has been doing web design since 2003 picking up html, css, some javascript, and even php. He has been using flash since 2004 and is mostly a self-taught actionscripter. He can’t help but tinker in the newest design trends. Evan loves the cross section of art and technology in which we find web design.

The Family

He first took an internship as the webmaster at Team Clermont and then commuted to Atlanta during his final semester at UGA serving as the Production Intern at Cartoon Network New Media! After school he took positions at Free IQ and then StomperNet to design interactive flash video players and websites as the in-house interactive designer. Since 2004, Evan has also maintained circlecube studio as a freelance web studio and even a playground for open source experiments, examples, and to simply share tips he learns along the way. The blog content centers around interactive design principles and technologies.

On a more personal note, Evan is happily married and a proud father. He enjoys time away from work with his family, outside camping and/or playing music.
